With her new found mobility Sadie is not afraid to play with her bigger cousins. The family was amazed by her fearless approach to the slide!

Sadie loved playing with her cousins in Natchez. The highlight was Sunday after the brunch on the swings at the bed and breakfast.

We all enjoyed our trip to Natchez, MS for Kate's cousin's wedding. All the Ewell's were there and we stayed in a bed and breakfast which made it fun for the kids to play and for the adults to take family portraits. Sadie had a sitter for the rehersal/wedding so Ed and Kate were able to enjoy time with family and friends.

We spent Sunday afternoon at the Saddle Club with the Youngs. Sadie had fun playing with her cousins and then she met the jolly man with the white beard.....

Holiday party

Sadie enjoyed our holiday open house and played with about a dozen friends on Saturday afternoon. Kate's downstairs design was put to work and everyone enjoyed the swing, toys and chalkboard.

Sadie loves her Saturday afternoon swimming. She enjoys the water and is kicking up a storm. Her favorite thing is getting the balls floating around the pool.

Sadie received a huge package from her Aunt Sarah this week with hand-me-downs from her cousin Emma. The clothes are so cute on her and she loves all her new styles!

With the weather turning cold in Chicago, Sadie is spending more time at the indoor exhibits at the Lincoln Park Zoo. The fish are her favorites (if you look closely you can also see her friend the hippo looking at her). She also enjoys the giraffes and apes.

Halloween- Sadie the Fairy Princess, part 2

We had a beautiful evening in Chicago for Halloween. Sadie loved walking around, holding onto candy and seeing all the kids in their costumes.

Last day at the studio

Sadie and her Mom played and made art for the last time in Kate's studio. The seeds of Sadie's creativity were planted at the Contemporary Art Workshop.

Sadie played downstairs and painted with Maya and Zoe this weekend. They were really great with her and they had tons of fun.
