Grandma and Grandpa Lewis

Sadie got lots of TLC from her grandparents this weekend. They spent all of Monday with her while Ed was traveling on business and Kate got some R&R.

Cheese

Sadie is eating all kinds of table food with her fingers. She is really into cheese (see the pic). Her other favorite is english muffin with almond butter and honey.

Sadie's first drawing

Sadie picked up Kate's notebook and pencil without any encouragement and made her first drawing. She clearly has been paying attention to her mom! A chip off the ol' block!!

Sippy Cup

Sadie has officially transitioned to her sippy cup. She prefers the straw version (Kate tried about 10 alternatives)

Cupcake!!

Sadie was the life of the party at her birthday celebration. No crying with over 30 people singing to her and then she got to work on her cupcake!

Sadie's first charitable contribution

Sadie and her friends made a big difference with the children being treated at the Chicago Children's Memorial Hospital. We asked that people bring a donation instead of a gift. Over 25 toys were donated in Sadie's name!
