Sadie is a whirlwind lately. She loves to sit in a chair by herself and read, climb all over the place and get into everything. Tons of fun!!!

Noelle and Sadie spent their last day together last week at the Farm Zoo and park :-(

United is recalling their flight attendants and Noelle has to go back to work. Sadie has blossomed with Noelle as her nanny and she will be missed.

Sadie was exhausted after all the partying in St Louis. She was sound asleep on the way out of town and found several comfortable positions to continue her nap!

We stopped at DQ on the way to St Louis and Sadie loved her kiddie cone after her lunch.

Sadie was the life of the party at cousin Maureen's wedding in St Louis. She played with cousin Molly's girls and enjoyed staying with cousin Karen.

Brunch with the Holdens

Janet and Sam Holden hosted brunch on a rainy Sunday. We all enjoyed the company and Sadie was well behaved and the life of the party.

We stayed at an awesome resort on Sunday night. It had a gradual incline into the pool and Sadie could crawl in and out. She is enjoying the water.

Sadie crawled under the covers with her Dad on Sunday morning after the wedding. She wasn't as ready for a snooze as her hungover Dad was, but it was fun for the moment.

Sadie was the life of the party at the post-wedding brunch. She read the paper with the bride (Lane) and smiled at her wedding announcement.

Playtime in SC

Sadie has a new group of friends in SC. Violet is in the yellow and is Kate's college roommate's daughter. We stayed with Jack and Louisa (kids of Kate's former Art Institute colleague) in Durham, NC. Sadie had a great time playing and exploring new digs.

Sadie the Traveler

Sadie is a great traveler. She settled in on the flight with her magazine and kicked back with a juice box in the car. The flight attendants gave her cups to play with which were great fun.

New rug for Sadie's playroom

Kate jazzed up the basement this week with a new rug. Sadie was very interested in the new pattern and it brightens up the room.

Playdate

Noelle took Sadie on a playdate this week. Sadie loved playing with her new 17 month old friend (I don't know his name---Dad needs to start screening her dates!). As you can see, Sadie is a natural sharer of toys. We will see how this evolves as the 2s approach. Additionally, she even took a nap in the crib at their house---she is getting SO big!
