We are back in Chicago after a week in Tennessee. Everyone had a great time-- especially Sadie and Eli with all their cousins, Aunts and Uncles.

Christmas morning part 1
Eli had us up early on Christmas morning, but Maya came in and helped feed him. Sadie got up and was ready for Santa (even with the bed head) All the grandkids waited upstairs before running down to see what Santa brought for them.
Christmas morning
The chaos of Christmas morning was fun and lively. Santa was very generous to the Ewell clan.
Christmas Eve
We had family brunch at the retreat center on Kate's parent's farm. Frosty the Snowman on the big screen and an excellent egg dish highlighted the morning.
Visiting Aunt Mary
Sadie and Eli were the special guests of Kate's 96 yr old Aunt Mary on Christmas Eve. She loved on them both and spoiled Sadie with her chocolate cake.Monday, December 21, 2009

Dollhouse
Sadie is SO excited today after opening her first Christmas present of the season. Ama and Grandpa came through with a dollhouse and she was immersed in it for an hour.

Kids together
Sadie is adorable with Eli lately. When she talks to Eli he lights up. Eli is now in a highchair and has eaten apples, carrots, beets, bananas and cereal.

Eli
Eli is getting big and is filling out. His appetite has really increased and he is very fun and attentive to Sadie.
