Kids house

Kate found a cool cardboard house for the kids.  They are at work decorating it and making up all sorts of imaginary stories.

Eli's big boy bed

Eli transitioned to a big boy bed this weekend.  He was very excited and has been great!

Kids playspace/office

Kate created a cute nook for the kids to play together in the studio.  Very cute.

Smores and fireplace

After playing in the snow we built a fire and made smores.  We love the Chicago winter (remind us of this in March)

Snowsuit day

The kids built the first snow fort of the winter.  Eli bravely tunneled through the fort and boldly fired a snowball at Sadie.  Game on!

Playing with Uncle Ben

The kids love their weekend play time with Uncle Ben.  Nothing like an uncle that is a big kid.

Dress up!

Sadie and Eli are in dress up mode.  Ama sent Eli a monster outfit and they are having fun playing together...this one is a big hit---Snow White and the Orange Monster....sure to be as big as Shrek!

Grandpa's book

Kate created a special book in honor of my dad for the kids and I. Lots of great pictures of his time with them.  Reason #115 why I married well!

Play at the Littlefields

Sadie and Eli loved their two weeks with their cousins.  One of the highlights was the "slide" down the stairs.

Playtime

 The kids got to play on the farm over the holiday.  Tons of fun with the cousins.  Note:  Emma our 9 year old niece took the family pic!

Christmas

The kids were VERY excited for Santa.  Sadie, Connan and Emma slept in the same room.  They sprinted downstairs at 7:01 (we forgot to tell them to wait for their parents).  Sadie's favorites were dress up and Eli was his bricks and banana.
