Five Days Late

Pending Sadie's arrival, we are keeping busy. Ed's brother Mike arrived for a visit. We're glad to see him, but Kate couldn't be convinced that Carey (as in Harry Carey) was a great name for our daughter. Mike spent the day at the Cubs game and got to see their 7th win in a row with a walkoff homerun in the bottom of the 9th. Go Cubs!!!

Our nieces Maya and Zoe also stopped by for an afternoon with Aunt Kate. They love Sadie's playroom and are excited to hold their cousin.

Tonight we are heading to Hema's for spicy Indian food to see if the old wives tale can cause some action. If nothing happens this weekend, Kate will be induced on Monday, July 2nd.

One week to go....

Kate is remaining active as the big day gets closer. Her routine this week is to walk with a book and stop along the way to read to avoid fatigue. Great for exercise and suntan.

Dad-to-be to be is glad to be off the road after a last minute dash to Toronto and Boston. I never thought O'Hare airport would bring tears to my eyes!

Sadie's Room

We are really pleased with the work we did on Sadie's room. The walls and ceiling were painted white and Kate created a colorful room. We love the rug and the addition of Kate's artwork. We are ready for our little girl~

One month to go

Kate looks as beautiful as ever with under a month to go. She walks for an hour or does yoga every day (never mind the ice cream!). We are filled with anticipation and the nursery is ready to welcome our girl. Exciting times~
