Sadie's hat head from her stocking cap gave us the first glimpse into the potential of a curly head of hair.

Let me out of here

Sadie starts every morning on her hands and knees waiting for her dad to get her up and change the diaper (I won't go into the collateral damage of spinach, lentil and sweet potatoe purees)

Our little artist

Sadie has started interacting with her mom's art. This has really stimulated her imagination as well as Kate's belief in this opportunity.

Pete and Sadie nap time

Sadie and Pete take their naps together (one in the chair the other in the crib!). Before they settle in they communicate via the stare down language.

Reading with Mom

Sadie loves to "read" with her mom. Her favorite books are the Hungry Caterpillar, Quiet Loud and Baby Faces.

Sleeping on a Cold Sunday

Sadie was cozy on the coldest day of the year in Chicago. Her red PJs kept her warm and cute at the same time!

Sadie and Pete are getting to be buddies. He lets her pet him on occasion and they play the stare down game.

Bath time

Sadie is now bathing in the tub (sometimes after eating!!) She enjoys the warm water and cozy blanket before climbing in her PJs.

Sweet Potatoes

Sadie's favorite veggie is sweet potatoes. Sometimes she needs a bath after a good meal!

Hanging Jumping Chair

Sadie LOVES her new chair. It sits in the doorway facing the kitchen so she can bounce up and down while we are cooking. She giggles the entire time~

Nature Museum

Sadie spent the afternoon at the Nature Museum with Maya, Zoe and Meg (along with her mom and Aunt Jennifer). The highlight was the butterfly room!

Smiles

Sadie is giggling regularly and in quite entertaining as she approaches 6 mos old.

Car seat

Sadie has gotten quite comfortable in her car seat lately. Between the warm lining and her fingers, she is right at home!

Holdens

Janet and Sam Holden stopped by to meet Sadie. Everyone enjoyed the afternoon together.

Cousins

Sadie was the center of attention with her cousins over the holiday. Lots of great playtime!

Christmas with Mommy

Sadie and her Mommy wore their matching outfits on Christmas morning!

Pop

Sadie and Pop got to hang out over the holiday. She enjoyed the view from up so high!

Sadie got lots of kisses from Gran over the holiday!

Fudge

Sadie helped Aunt Mary with her famous fudge while in Halls.
