Ice Cream and family in STL

Ice cream was one of the highlights of the kids time in St Louis. They also loved swimming in the hotel pool and getting all the attention with our family and friends.

St Louis visit

Sadie and Eli (and Kate) tagged along on Ed's business trip to St Louis. We had dinner with all our aunts/uncles and cousins. Eli and Sadie were the stars of the show!

Eli is all about standing up. He loves to surf from the couch to the coffee table (round and round). Standing in the crib is his favorite as he is so tall from there.

New swings in studio

We have three swings in the studio now. The kids love it and they are now able to play together (with some adult supervision) Eli's favorite is the fabric seat and Sadie's is the monkey bars.

Cousins new house

We ventured west to see the Umlauf's new home in Glen Ellyn. The kids loved the big backyard and playground around the corner.

Backyard

Kate's dad built the kids a sandbox while he was here. The kids are loving the good weather and being outside. Sadie even played in the backyard last night while Kate was making dinner---suburbia in the city!

Art Institute with Gran and Pop

The kids, Kate and her parents visited the Modern Wing at the Art Institute. Sadie really gets into the bright colors (the apple doesn't fall far from the tree!)

Sadie wih Keenan

Our friends Suzanne and Amy had us over to meet their newborn son Keenan (born on St Paddy's day). Sadie was really sweet and loved holding him.

Kids at Kate's Art Show

Kate's gallery show was a big success (check out www.katelewisart.com if you missed it). One of the highlights was Sadie and Eli getting to witness their mom at work and get to see it up on the walls in a gallery.

Eli's new favorite home is a big box from Costco. It is sturdy and just the right height. Sadie can even climb in with him!

Front Porch

Gran and Pop helped Kate rework our front garden. The kids got to watch, learn and play.
