Farmers Market

We spent a beautiful Saturday morning at our favorite farmers market. Tons of kids and live music. Sadie is lucky to have a tall uncle so she can see over everyone!

Sadie is thriving with all the new space in our home. She plays in the garden and has helped decorate her future siblings room.

Sadie and her new friend Ceci played at the farmers market on Wednesday. The weather is warm in Chicago and Sadie has lived in the park!

Studio sans walls in the turret

Michael and I took down the walls the previous owner used as white backgrounds for her photography. The three windows in the turret really open up the space and Kate is super excited about her studio/playspace for the kids.

We all enjoyed BBQ after a dusty day of tearing down wallpaper (bathroom) and drywall (attic). Notice the kitchen cabinets that Kate painted white!

Sadie had tons of fun with her cousins on Sunday while we were working on the house.

Toy donation to Children's Hospital

Sadie and her dad continued the tradition started last year by donating a van full of toys to the Chicago Children's Memorial Hospital. She doesn't yet appreciate her contributions, but the seed is planted!

Having her hair done by her mom is one of Sadie's favorite things. Kate also loves it as Sadie has her mom's hair.
