Wedding at the Castle

We arrived at the castle for Paul and Tanya's wedding and were blown away. This is the stuff of dreams. On a hill above Florence with a huge garden behind a hundred foot wall.

Rehersal dinner

We made it back in time for the rehersal dinner and Sadie was the bella of the event. She slept the second half of the night so mom and dad could enjoy the fabulous meal and intimate event at the villa to celebrate Paul and Tanya!

Siena

We spent Thursday afternoon in Siena. It is a beautiful city and we enjoyed the walk. Sadie can make anyone of any age or culture smile. It was really fun to watch. We had a fabulous lunch on the piazza, then lost track of time. A nice local (see the blue coat) helped Ed find where we parked our car so we could make it to the rehersal dinner on time!

Gelato

Mom and Sadie enjoyed their first gelato as we wandered the cobblestone streets of this OLD town. We enjoyed panoramic views of the countryside.

Sadie in Tuscany

We spent our first afternoon in San Gimignano a small walled medieval hilltop town in Tuscany. The weather featured sunny skies and temps in the 80s. Mom and Dad were more tired than Sadie!

Sadie had her own bed for the flight- right in front of us. She slept a majority of the trip and became the favorite of the flight attendants who walked her around several times~
